Can my EU business get VAT exempt pricing?
Since 1st Jan 2021 (post-Brexit) we no longer charge VAT on EU purchases are we are no longer part of the EU. This means VAT will instead be charged by EU customs on any parcels that are imported from the UK. To mitigate this and delays, we've decided to pre-pay all taxes and duties for our EU business customers (so now this included in our product pricing) - but this unfortunately cannot be claimed back as VAT at your end.
B2B orders over €500 EUR
For EU businesses with a VAT number looking to place orders over €500 EUR, we can discount the equivalent of UK VAT (20%) from your order and then send it via DDU (Delivery Duty Unpaid) as opposed to the usual DDP (Delivery Duty Paid) we use for consumer purchases.
This means you will then be responsible for all your national VAT, duty and related customs fees once the parcel arrives in your country. You should then be able to claim back any VAT charged as part of your usual accounting.
Please note that proceeding this way could result in longer delays and potential additional processing fees at customs, so if you are in a hurry it might make more sense to simply place a consumer purchase on our website as usual. B2B orders cannot be combined with any other discount.
If you would like to proceed this way, please contact us here with your order details and we will raise a custom invoice for you. Your business must also have a valid EORI number.
Due to the way VAT is now treated (post-Brexit), we can no longer retroactively offer VAT refunds on any orders already placed.
