Why do EU businesses now have to add an EORI at checkout?

Since 1 Jan 2020 (post-Brexit), EU companies importing from the UK are required to provide their EORI number on all incoming shipments. This is an EU requirement. Your EORI will be submitted alongside our exporters EORI on the commercial invoice paperwork provided to EU customs.

Orders that are missing an EORI may be subject to delays, so please be sure to include it where indicated when checking out (alongside your company name).

If your EU company does not have a valid EORI number, more information about how to obtain one can be found on the European Commission website here. Alternatively we would recommend purchasing as a consumer/non-business entity to a residential address.
